Harlow woman charged with helping man on trial for murder set fire to car

A HARLOW woman has been charged with helping a man charged with murder set fire to a car.

Tina Waterfield, aged 49, of Elizabeth Way, Harlow has been charged with the following.

On October 18th, 2019, without lawful authority or reasonable excuse, did an act, assisted with setting fire to a BMW and transporting Mark Brinkley away from that vehicle, with intent to impede the apprehension or prosecution of Mark Brinkley, who had committed the offence of murder, knowing or believing him to be guilty of the offence or some other offence which carries a term of imprisonment of 5 years or more.

Waterfield has been sent for trial on March 22nd at Basildon Crown Court.
