Communities / Mon 23rd Aug 2021 at 08:24am

THE WEATHER wasn’t great on Saturday but that didn’t dampen the spirits at the Community Embrace Festival on Saturday.

The festival took place on the fields off Abercrombie Way in Harlow.

There were a number of stalls including food from around the world and many others.

There were a number of acts during the afternoon including Razed Roof and musician Anita Schschik whose music is showcased in our video below.

The chair of Harlow Council,, cllr Clive Souter visited the event and spoke to all the stallholders.

Community Embrace is a charity led by the wonderful Herty Adu-Twumwaa and her team of volunteers.

They are a non-profit organisation aiming to promote diversity, advance cohesion and integration and encourage dialogues by connecting people of diverse backgrounds together. Their range of services include surplus food aid and community engagement activities.
