Army arrives to deliver fuel to petrol station in Harlow

News / Fri 1st Oct 2021 at 02:23pm

THE ARMY have arrived to deliver fuel to Harlow.

A tanker turned up at just after 2.30pm at the Esso Garage on Tillwicks Road near Bush Fair in Harlow.

YH spoke to staff at the garage who told us that they were now undertaking some form of training in order to be able to deliver fuel to the pumps.

Meanwhile a queue was starting to develop down Tillwicks Road and into Southern Way.

Think you will find it was Hoyer who had the worst terms for drivers, So they walked.

Tesco in CL, where I got petrol this morning, were super efficient. Staff on hand to give info/advice - plus big warning notice on the roundabout when they don’t have fuel. Super efficient and very polite!

If the muppets who keep on topping up stopped, then there would be no queues and plenty for every one, there is no shortage of petrol , just brainless morons panic buying.

The only thing in short supply are brain cells.

Why are we the only country panic buying fuel?? What is our main stream media covering up by creating a problem that doesn’t exist??

My local petrol station is the BP garage on Southern Way, drove passed it about 2.10pm the Hoyer tanker was there. Along with a queue of vehicles stretching back beyond the shopping centre on Southern Way. It will probably be dry by Sunday!!!

Alleluyah! If the government hadn't told us not to panic, people would have been calmer. Maybe folk don't trust this government? Well, I don't and I'm not alone! Then the media reported the story so the situation escalated while the government vacillated as usual. So ... the panic spread, meaning longer queues, workers unable to get to work, chaos generally. This is a lesson in how not to do it. Create anxiety. Let it grow. Do nothing. When you can't avoid it, when you're out of your depth, bring in the army. So impressive.
