Harlow 19 v 20 Old Cooperians

A LAST gasp re-taken conversion was the difference between the two sides at a rain swept Latton Park on Saturday afternoon.

Harlow were 19-13 up going into the final minute when Old Cooperians scored a try to make it 19-18.

They subsequently missed the vital conversion but the referee judged that the Harlow players broke the rules by trying to distract the kicker as they bore down on him.

The OC kicker made no mistake much to the joy of the Upminster side (as you can see below.

Harlow will no doubt use there well worn phrase “lessons learned”.
