Harlow man jailed for drug dealing ordered to pay £180,000 as part of Proceeds of Crime Order

A HARLOW man has been ordered to pay over £180,000 following a Proceeds of Crime Act application.
Christopher Golding, aged 40, of HMP Chelmsford and Stuart Thurgood, aged 40, of HMP Chelmsford attended a hearing at Chelmsford Crown Court on 28th April 2022.
At this hearing Christopher Golding was ordered to pay a confiscation order in the sum of £184,336.47 or in default to serve two years imprisonment.
Golding was also ordered to pay a victims surcharge of £170 to be collected three months from release from prison.
There was also a Serious Crime Prevention Order (SCPO) for five years to commence upon date of release from custody.
Stuart Thurgood was made subject to a SCPO order for five years upon date of release from custody.
Both of the above has a forfeiture and destruction order imposed for drugs and drug paraphernalia.
