Cricket: Harlow CC’s Max passes 2000 runs

Cricket / Mon 13th Jun 2022 at 07:45am

FIRST XI middle order batsman Max Baulcomb passed 2000 league runs for Harlow CC yesterday making another useful contribution with an undefeated 40.

Max has come through the Colts section at the club and cemented his place in the First XI over the past two seasons.

Max averages a little over 25 but its a record that is on an upward curve and he’s produced some impressive, hard hitting innings this season that have helped turn Harlow’s batting from something that was as fragile as rice paper at times to one of the best in their division.

Max hits the ball seriously hard and there is no greater sight than watching him plant his front foot and hammer the ball over the long off boundary.

Max has a career adult top score of 80 but I’ve little doubt a big three figure score will be achieved soon.

Congratulations Max – many more runs to come I’m sure.
