Parndon Mill: Cornish seascapes and landscapes
Entertainment / Mon 20th Jun 2022 at 06:55am
PARNDON Mill’s next exhibition presents seascapes by Neil Robbins inspired by watching the sea, the light and the wild scenic landscapes during many visits to Cornwall, finding its beautiful beaches, cliff tops and dark moors.
The paintings are complemented by glassware by Karen Murphy with the theme of moving water inspired by a tumbling waterfall and the river at Lydford Gorge in Devon. It will be a lovely exhibition which I am sure you would all enjoy.
The Private View is on Sunday 26th June from 2 till 4 when you can come to meet the artists and enjoy a glass of wine.
Their current exhibition, Colours, Curves and Textures, is of Photographs taken at the Henry Moore Foundation. They are works of art in their own right, colourful and with amazing textures. They are complemented by stone and wood carvings by James Copper who has worked at the Foundation for many years. It runs until this Sunday and is an exhibition not to be missed.
