AS we enter the last two days of our Harlow is 75 project, we thought we would publish this vlog from October.

There was a time when the area we now know as Parndon Wood Cemetery and Crematorium was just fields.

But as new town developed, there was no more space at the established cemeteries.

And so since the early sixties, Parndon Wood has grown and grown. And unfortunately, the older you get, the more familiar one becomes with the surroundings.

And the more you visit, the more you become aware that the many who were born abroad have found their resting place in Harlow.

From wherever you were born, rest in peace.
