WORK has been continuing to help Carly Burd get her allotment project back up and running following recent vandalism.
Joining Carly on site this morning was Harlow Council, HTS, volunteers from Harlow Garden Centre, Good Morning Britain correspondent Nick Dixon, garden designer Juliet Sargeant and TV gardener Danny Clarke.
Work has taken place to remove the contaminated soil and put down topsoil donated by Harlow Garden Centre, so the area is ready again for planting.
The work featured on Good Morning Britain and included interviews with Carly who has been overwhelmed by the response she has received.
Meanwhile, Carly’s GoFundMe page has gone over £226,000!
A remarkable story.
