Risden Wood charity football match raises over £1500 for Streets2Homes

THE Risden Wood Football Charity Match was a huge success, raising a total of £1513.00 for the Streets to Homes charity. The event was held as a thank you to the charity for their incredible work in helping someone in need.
The match was a thrilling one, with the veterans taking on the youths in a closely contested game. The final result was 4-2 in favour of the youths, with both teams putting on an impressive display of football skills.
The event was organised by Graham and Liam Dowers, who rallied up sponsors and worked tirelessly to make the event a reality. The community came together to show their support, with a great turnout on the day.
Speaking after the event, Liam Dowers said: “I’m so proud of what we’ve achieved here today. It’s amazing to see the community come together for such a great cause, and I’m honoured to have been a part of it.”
