CARETAKER REQUIRED

STEWARDS are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable Caretaker. You will work as part of our Site Team supporting with general day-to-day maintenance of the premises which will include but not limited to: Daily, Weekly and Monthly maintenance checks, site security, general plumbing, grounds maintenance as well as providing a safe and clean environment for students and staff.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic and will have a flexible approach to the tasks undertaken and the hours worked. The ability to use one’s own initiative to work independently is highly desirable.

We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants who have some experience working within a trade (painting, decorating, plumbing etc) but this is not essential.

Alternating shift pattern
Week one – 6.00am – 2.00pm
Week two – 12.00 noon – 8.00pm (this may vary due to school events)
37 hours per week
½ unpaid lunch

Holiday allowance 25 days per year (to be taken during school closure periods).

Salary: Scale 5 Point 9 – £23,857.00 per annum (including fringe allowance)
