Government launches Community Organisations Cost of Living Fund
Charity / Mon 24th Jul 2023 at 08:57am
THE government has today launched the Community Organisations Cost of Living Fund (CCLF), which will be delivered by The National Lottery Community Fund (TNLCF).
The £76 million package of funding aims to maintain and expand support for people and communities under severe pressure because of the increased cost of living, by distributing grants to critical frontline services seeing increased demand and increased delivery costs.
Grant awards will be decided through a competitive process, seeking applications from eligible organisations.
We will announce further details of organisations awarded onward grants through the CCLF later this year.
Eligible organisations will be able to apply for grants of £10,000 to £75,000.
Funding is available for the costs of delivering services between the fund’s launch on 24 July 2023 and 31 March 2024, including continuing existing provision, expanding the capacity of services to meet demand or adapting services to respond to new needs in local communities.
There is an expectation that this Fund will be heavily oversubscribed and not every organisation will receive funding.
For further information, see the applicant guidance on TNLCF’s website.
