STEWARDS Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable Librarian. You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the library and supervising Homework club, providing a safe and clean environment for students and staff.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic and be involved in various aspects of school life where the library is the focal point. The ability to use one’s own initiative to work independently is highly desirable.

We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants who have a strong interest working with young people and supporting their learning, have a calm, confident manner and be able to build up a good rapport with pupils and staff.

Working hours: 37 hours per week

Working conditions: Monday to Friday
8:15am – 4:15pm Monday – Thursday
8:15am – 3:45pm Friday

Working weeks: 40 weeks
Paid Weeks: 45.8 weeks

Salary: Scale 5 Point 9 – £20,956.09 per annum (including fringe allowance)
