CALLING all courageous soles! Are you brave enough to take on the Firewalk challenge?

St Clare Hospice is holding a Firewalk event this autumn and inviting brave supporters to take a barefoot walk across burning embers. The Firewalk promises to be one of the most memorable journeys you will ever undertake. A barefoot, red-hot walk, with no tricks or special effects, it is just you and the fire!

Taking place at St Clare Hospice in Hastingwood on the 5th of October between 7-9pm.
Firewalkers, their friends and family can look forward to a delicious refreshments and fantastic entertainment.

Test your resilience and perseverance by walking across the wood embers at 600 degrees.

Rebecca Beattie Events Relationship Fundraiser said ‘Are you ready to feel the flames? Hot foot it to our Firewalk event and raise money for St Clare Hospice. A firewalk gives you the opportunity to test your endurance and is a great opportunity for friends, family or colleagues to attend a scorching event!’

The event will be run by Firewalk specialists Time4Change and promises to be a thrilling experience. It costs just £25 to sign up to undertake the walk and the local charity is asking firewalkers to pledge to raise an additional £150 in sponsorship which could pay for 6 hours of specialist, compassionate care on the St Clare Inpatient Unit.

The event is open to all but firewalkers must be over 16 to take part and under 18s will need a signed consent form from a guardian.
