FESTIVE WREATH MAKING
Join Down Hall’s festive wreath-making workshop in partnership with Essex-based florist, The Honest Florist Co. Hosted in the hotel’s historic Prior Room, whilst surrounded by festive scents of cinnamon, orange and pine cones, be guided in the art on wreath-making from scratch – expect an abundance of moss and a selection of beautiful seasonal foliage, holly and decorations for your bespoke creations. Enjoy with a mulled wine on arrival and a mince pie to get in the ultimate festive spirit. Available from 6.30pm-8.30pm on 23rd November | £65 per person

LIVE FROM THE WINTER LAWN

Kick-off the party season with a night of music and mulled wine at the hotel’s special Live from the Winter Lawn event. Experience the sounds of the season with classic Christmas songs and carols, from Silent Night to Jingle Bells, performed by renowned Gospel singers from CK Gospel Choir, accompanied by a pianist, whilst enjoying seasonal drinks and food, to the backdrop of breathtaking frosty views of the hotel’s striking grounds. BRUNCH/AFTERNOON TEA WITH SANTA       

Surprise and delight younger guests by inviting them to a magical brunch or festive afternoon tea with a surprise visit from Santa, as he parks up his sleigh and comes packed with a range of gifts for the children. The perfect family outing to create lasting memories.
Available from 10.30am – 1pm for brunch and 3pm – 5.30pm for tea on limited days throughout December

FESTIVE AFTERNOON TEA

Christmas is a time for excess, so why not indulge your sweet tooth with a quintessentially festive spread. Down Hall’s Christmas Afternoon Tea begins with a selection of fresh finger sandwiches, made with ingredients from the hotel’s Kitchen Garden, before enjoying warm scones, homemade patisserie and a range of specialist teas.
