Entertainment / Sun 22nd Oct 2023 at 02:15pm

THE Harlow Art Trust received a large bequest from former trustee John Graham. The Trust is extremely grateful for the gift.

The Harlow Art Trust picture collection is now much larger with over 250 new pieces, several by notable British artists.

The financial gift will enable the Trust to develop and run a range of local activities including collections conservations, exhibitions, enabling accessibility, as well as investment in the Trust’s organisational resilience and sustainability.

The next stage of processing the bequest will be an online sale of some of the estate on October 24th by Sworder’s auction house. You can read more at the following link, with full lot details available the week of the sale.

Proceeds will go to Harlow Art Trust. Harlow Art Trust is a registered charity. The Trust is guardian of the Harlow Sculpture Town sculpture collection and it runs the Gibberd Gallery. It seeks to make great art and opportunities to take part in creative events freely accessible to all.

The house that John Graham designed as his home in Harlow is for sale. Wouldn’t it be great if it could be preserved.
