Flowers of the Seasons is coming to St John’s Arc
Communities / Wed 17th Jan 2024 at 10:33am
NEXT month, the music of Eliza Flower will be performed in Harlow.
The work of Eliza and her sister Sarah may not be that well known however, Sarah’s work “Nearer, My God, To Thee:” was reportedly sung as the Titanic sank.
The sisters are buried in the graveyard
Flowers of the Seasons brings together a number of organisations in a celebration of their work.
Last week, we went down to St John’s Arc to speak to Francis Lynch of the Electric Voice Theatre.
Full details on the poster at the bottom.

It's going to be a most unusual event for which we send out a warm invitation. Posters and Flyers have been distributed around Harlow and in particular in Old Harlow where the venue of St. John's ARC is situated. ALL WELCOME AT THIS PRODUCTION. It's a first that there will also be a BSL interpreter! The DeMerc Chamber choir will be involved and additional young local singers. Energetic Frances Lynch who is interviewed by Michael above will be directing the event. Please, note that the flyer will give further information on ticket sales. Tickets are available from St. John's, but also via the management of the 'Electric Voice Theatre' from EVENTBRITE on-line. It's part of Old Harlow's history. Please do come and join us!
More info and booking on our Electric Voice Theatre website - here https://www.electricvoicetheatre.co.uk/events/flowers-of-the-seasons-st-johns-arc-old-harlow/ as well as from St. John's - hope to see you there!
