BARRINGTON Funeral Driers raised over £3,000 through their Jingle Sleigh Ride at Christmas.
A spokesperson said: “
“At last, we are thrilled to report that our annual Barringtons Jingle Bell Sleigh has raised over an incredible £3,000 for St Clare Hospice and Isabel Hospice! These two remarkable charities are close to many of our hearts, and we are honoured to support them in such an uplifting and inclusive way.
Our communities of Bishop’s Stortford, Old Harlow & Harlow showed such amazing support once again, as families came out in their thousands to wave us by.
The grand finale was nothing short of spectacular, thanks to the incredible support and efforts of New Ground Cafe and the BSRFC. They pulled out all the stops to provide us with festive refreshments, fantastic live bands and most of all Christmas community spirit.
“Our team of ‘Barringtons Helpers’ were absolutely incredible once again. Mostly made up from family and close friends who dedicate their entire weekend to volunteer, their passion and effort is unbelievable. We are so grateful and could not manage such an unforgettable weekend without them. Thank you so much.
“Although February is here already, December will soon be upon us, capturing all of the magic that Christmas can bring. The happiness and joy that this event creates is beautiful and now a cherished family tradition… A time for our entire community to come together and embrace the enchantment of Christmas with our loved ones.
“Wishing you all a year filled with happiness, good health and prosperity. We look forward to continuing this tradition for many, many years to come and will see you again very soon.
Our best wishes
“Nikki, Lisa and all of the Barringtons Team”.
