Harlow Open celebrates work of winners and those highly commended

THE HARLOW Open, a celebration of art in Harlow and beyond had its opening night a few weeks ago.

Over the past few days, they have been publishing details of the winners in a number of categories.

Full details are below.

The Harlow Open is on until March.

We will be showing this week the winners of the Harlow Open 2024 starting with the Highly Commended.

Our last Highly Commended but certainly not least went to Luke Hayes.

Judges Prize for Sculpture went to Tom Almeroth-Williams.

In memory of local artist Sue McDonald, the Sue McDonald prize is awarded for painting.

We have our Judges’ Choice with 3rd Prize going to Gunta Andrews textile piece ‘Who Knew?’

‘Pedestrian’ by David Fitzjohn was voted as one of the Harlow Open 2024’s Highly Commended.

Created with felt tip pens, the prize was a pleasant shock to David when it was revealed at the Private View.
