Rugby: Harlow’s head coach looks forward to vital match against Southend
General / Fri 1st Mar 2024 at 04:50pm

SOUTHEND Saxons can all but secure the Regional 2 Anglia of London & SE title with a win over Harlow, now up to second following a 48-24 victory over Thurrock.
The Saxons hold a ten-point advantage with four matches to play following their 35-20 victory over Eton Manor.
However, Harlow are having a wonderful season. They may just have a say about Saturday’s game.
Following promotion last season, this was expected to be the consolidation year. A year in which they would bed in and acclimatise.
Looks like the players did not read the script.
They are hoping for a bumper crowd at Latton Park on Saturday.
We popped down to speak to Head Coach Mike Weston about the game as well as a reflection on the season so far.
Match kicks off at 2.30pm.
