IF you know an unsung community champion, a person or organisation that goes the extra mile for the town and its residents of Harlow or the town itself, we want to hear about them from you.

The Civic Awards recognise and celebrate our community’s best and brightest; from organising or volunteering at clubs, to helping schools or elderly neighbours or providing social networks to reduce isolation and enable people to live independently, we want to hear about the people you think make fantastic contributions and make our community a better place.

This year’s award categories are:

• Citizen of the Year
• Young Citizen of the Year (Up to the age of 18)
• Sports and Culture Award
