IT was like that scene out of Rocky 2 in Harlow on Friday as dozens of Freshwaters Primary and Mark Hall Academy runners joined popular teacher Mr Newborough as part of his London Marathon training.

They took to the streets around both schools for quite a long run.

Jordan is running the Marathon in April for Children with Cancer UK.

He told YH: “Unfortunately, one of our students has been diagnosed with stage 3 brain cancer and is currently undergoing chemotherapy.

“I’ve seen first hand the amazing work that the charity does for children like Stanley and this has motivated me to run the marathon for such a great cause.
