THE Harlow Liberal Democrats has unveiled Riad Mannan as their parliamentary candidate.

A Lib Dem spokesperson said: “Riad passionately advocates for the hospital Harlow deserves alongside the Lib Dems, a promise unfulfilled by the Conservatives.

“He’s dedicated to safeguarding our students’ education, ensuring they aren’t confined to makeshift classrooms due to developer negligence. As well as committing to tackle the soaring cost of living Harlow residents have to face.

Riad has been a member of the Liberal Democrats since 2019, drawn to their values of fairness, justice and equality; he recognises the need for radical solutions to meet the challenges faced by our communities, here in Harlow and the wider country.

“He is an ardent moderniser, committed to supporting people to get on with their lives in the best way possible, promoting opportunities for everyone, and ensuring a strong economy where there is no conflict between supporting economic activity and entrepreneurship whilst tackling social inequalities and poverty”.
