LAST week, a reception was held at Harlow Council as part of the 250th anniversary celebrations for Harlow Cricket Club.

The leader of Harlow Council, Dan Swords, led proceedings as he spoke warmly of the role that club has played in the history of the town.

His words were echoed by the chair of Harlow Council, Andrew Johnson who detailed how the club is very much part of his Hidden Gems celebration.

Club President, Alan Howick accepted a certificate on behalf of the club. He then made a short speech.
