Harlow students pass Fire Break Course with flying colours (on the hottest day of the year!)

Education: Secondary / Thu 25th Jul 2024 at 10:21am

SCHOOL students from across Harlow impressed as they took part in a Fire Break course at Harlow Fire Station.

Students from Stewards Academy, Mark Hall Academy and Passmores Academy had been working with the Fire Service team all week in what is a very demanding course.

On Friday, proud family members joined staff as well as the High Sheriff of Essex in watching them undertake a fire drill. He was joined by members of Rainbow Services, Essex Fire and Rescue and Essex Police.

It was clear that the all-girl team worked seamlessly as a team, impressing all who watched the drill.

It has to be noted that they undertook the hour long drill wearing incredibly heavy uniform on what was the hottest day of the year.
