THE PRIME minister has promised an MP for Bury St Edmunds that hospitals with RAAC will be a priority as part of review to new building programme.
Labour MP Peter Prinsley, who represents Bury St Edmunds and Stowmarket (and is also a surgeon) asked the prime minister, Sir Keir Starmer, if he agreed with him that hospitals with structural defects such as RAAC should be a priority?
The new MP referred to West Suffolk Hospital in his constituency as well as James Paget hospital in Norfolk.
The prime minister said “hospitals with RAAC, including yours, must be a priority, so we are reviewing the programme.”
Film is below.
This begs a question as to where a new hospital for Harlow residents sits or will sit when the review is completed?
