HARE Street Community Primary School is delighted to announce that it has been awarded the highly coveted Primary Science Quality Mark (PSQM) Gilt Award, recognising the school’s excellence in science teaching and leadership. This prestigious accolade was granted last week, showcasing the school’s commitment to providing a high-quality science education for all its pupils.

The PSQM Gilt Award is a nationally recognized award designed to raise the profile of science in primary schools. It celebrates schools that are dedicated to developing innovative, inspiring, and impactful science curriculums. Hare Street’s success reflects its drive to ensure that children engage with science in a way that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love for learning.

As part of its journey toward the PSQM Gilt Award, the school implemented a range of initiatives to engage pupils with science both in and outside of the classroom. It is the second time that the school has been awarded the PSQM Gilt Award
