Rugby / Mon 18th Nov 2024 at 07:36am

HARLOW made it five wins from their six games and keep up an impressive record of only losing 5 games in 5 years at Latton Park by securing a late bonus point win over in-form Brentwood.

Co-Head Coach Ian Rundall was thrilled with his squad after the final whistle.

“What a battle, we knew we had to produce a performance today to beat Brentwood and we did. The first 30 minutes is the best we have played all season, displaying great discipline in defence paired with being clinical in attack found us 14 points up.”

“If you leave the door open good teams will always take advantage and credit to Brentwood for exploiting our mistakes mid way through the match to get back in the game”

“But we are a good side, our final two tries are a blue print of everything we work on during the week. Our confidence continues to grow and I’m very proud of the togetherness of the squad for fighting back to take the bonus point win”

Try scorers: Archer, Davies, Clark, Nnochiri

Conversions: Batty (4)
Penalties: Batty

It was the inaugural Princeps Annual Charity Day at Latton Park with Princeps donating £250 for every try scored as well as a raffle in the clubhouse. Over £4400 was raise for St Clare Hospice.
