Daniel Robinson convoy takes families to the panto at the Harlow Playhouse

THE GOOD people at Daniel Robinson and Sons once again took a convoy of limousines through the streets of our town to the Harlow Playhouse on Saturday afternoon.
They left Gates of Harlow and travelled through Momples Road, Southern Way, Second Avenue and up the Playhouse Square.
The weather conditions were challenging but that didn’t stop Santa, his Elves, a pantomime dame and a number of very colourful characters making it a very special day for a number of families who have had a bit of tough year.
Harlow MP Chris Vince was also there to meet them.
You only have to see the expressions of utter joy on the faces of the families to know how much this is appreciated.

Thank you Daniel Robinsons. You chose my family to join you. Our year has been so hard with my darling wife and terrible illness. Yesterday was the first day in recent months that we as a family have been able to be all together as a family and thanks to you we smiled, laughed and made happy memories. All of the families who came along have had an incredibly difficult time due to bereavement or illness. We are incredibly grateful that we were able to give them a day of smiles and happiness despite the terrible weather!! It was so windy that poor Edna lost her purple wig somewhere on Edinburgh Way - if you see it please don't return it!!! Thank you to everyone who gave a wave, a smile or a honk of the horn, and to the fire service, Essex Police, Gates Ford, and everyone who gave their time to make this such a special day for everyone.
