A LOCAL family-owned sausage supplier is celebrating a new five-year deal with Aldi.

Based in Harlow, Riverway Foods has been supplying Britain’s fourth largest supermarket with premium British sausages since 2018, with the success of the partnership leading them to sign a new deal with the supermarket, worth £100 million over the next 5 years.

Over the past six years, Riverway Foods has expanded the range on offer across Aldi’s shelves to include its Specially Selected and Butchers Select products, with all products being Red Tractor assured and made from the finest cuts of meat.

The partnership has already enabled the supplier to invest in new packaging and product technologies, and to produce exciting flavours, with the deal allowing them to now focus on further sustainability commitments.
