ALL at Pemberley Academy are absolutely thrilled to share the fantastic success of their recent fundraiser, the Santa Dash, which was held in support of the Dolphin Ward at Princess Alexandra Hospital.

They raised an amazing £1,600! This generous contribution will help the Dolphin Ward purchase gifts and spread joy to the children spending their Christmas in hospital this year.

The school truly embraced the festive spirit. Dressed from head to toe in Santa outfits, the school grounds were a sea of red and white as everyone participated in the dash.

The youngest learners in Key Stage 1 ran an impressive 1 mile around the school, while the Key Stage 2 pupils went the extra mile—literally—completing a 2-mile route. The energy, enthusiasm, and determination of the children were nothing short of inspiring.

Community Spirit Shines Bright

The success of this event would not have been possible without the amazing support from the families.

Many of the pupils went the extra mile to secure sponsorships from family members and friends, which contributed significantly to the fundraising total. Every pound raised will go a long way toward brightening the hospital experience for the children at Princess Alexandra this Christmas.
