Church Langley man charged over burglary at Bluewater jewellers

TWO suspects have been charged following a burglary at a jewellers in Bluewater shopping centre.
The break-in and theft of a large number of watches was reported on Friday 7 February 2025.
Detectives launched an investigation and on Wednesday 12 February three men and a woman were arrested.

David Buisson, 55, of Malkin Drive, Harlow, and Stephen Smitherman, of Orchard Mews, Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire were later charged with conspiracy to commit burglary.
Mr Smitherman, 70, was further charged with driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance.
Both suspects were remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday 14 February.
A man, aged 56 and from Waltham Abbey, Essex along with a woman, aged 51 and from Brentwood, Essex were conditionally bailed to return to the police station on 12 May, pending further enquiries.
