THE Harlow primary schools football cup found its final four this week as Newhall primary snuck past Longwood in the last quarter final to be played.

The match, hosted at Hare Street school, saw Newhall take an early and commanding lead being 3-0 up at the end of the first half. The second half saw a huge fightback from the Longwood side, who were also missing players due to also having made the tag rugby finals. Some lovely feet by their attacking players saw them score first in the half, and then again, to set up a good finish.

The children from Newhall rose to that challenge though and started to ask more questions of the Longwood defence, which sadly Longwood were unable to answer. A good win for the Red’s of Newhall.
