ON SATURDAY, Freshwaters Primary Academy took 15 children up to London to take part in the Mini London Marathon — and what an amazing day it was!

Mr Newborough said: “Full of excitement and energy, our pupils gave it their all, proudly representing our school among thousands of young runners.

The atmosphere was incredible, and it was fantastic to see so many smiling faces crossing the finish line. Many of our children left feeling truly inspired, with lots of them already dreaming of running the full London Marathon when they are older!

“We are so proud of their hard work, determination, and team spirit.

“Well done, everyone!”
