Freshwaters Primary pays tribute to VE Day 80

FRESHWATERS Primary Academy marked the 80th anniversary of VE Day by taking to the fields.
With a little bit of choreography and the use of a drone, the pupils made a human 80 to pay their tribute to the special day.

My old school (as Broadfields). Our dad, a pow in Germany for 4 years due to the debacle in Crete, helped build the swimming pool. I hope that in commerating 80 years of a mostly peaceful Europe it is recognised that future peace may require a much stronger attitude to the likes of Russia.
