A FLOORING retailer has added the Essex town of Harlow to its list of UK locations following a major £150,000 investment in a new store.

Flooring Superstore has started welcoming shoppers to its 5,000 square foot store situated at The Oaks Retail Park on Howard Way, following the official opening on 24th May.

The unit was previously occupied by Carpetright.

The store, one of the largest in its portfolio, has created 3 new jobs and is the sixth to open in five months following other launches in Bishop Auckland, Cannock, Oxford, Burton and Manchester.

It forms part of an expansion programme being carried out by Flooring Superstore, which started life on a purely ecommerce platform in 2012. The Harlow store is the northern-based retailers 49th nationally.
