Harlow resident pleads guilty to vandalism and racially aggravated assault

A HARLOW resident has pleaded guilty charges of vandalism and racially aggravated harassment.

Lawrence Searle, aged 44, of Pittmans Field, Harlow pled to the following at Chelmsford magistrates court.

On April 6th, 2024, at Epping you did, without lawful excuse, damage interior door  to the value of £500 belonging to another, intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged.

On April 6th, 2024, at Epping you did racially / religiously aggravated intentional harassment / alarm / distress – words / writing, to another.

On April 8th, 2024, at Epping you did, without lawful excuse, damaged glass windows and side gate  to the value of unknown value belonging to another, intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged.

Searle was remanded on unconditional bail. His next scheduled appearance is September 1st.
