Man dies following collision on M11 near Harlow

A MAN has died following a collision on the M11 near Harlow.

A police spokesperson said: ‘We were called to reports of a collision on the southbound carriageway shortly before 3.50pm today (Sunday 17 August).

A car and a motorbike were involved.

Sadly, the rider of the motorbike – a man in his 30s – was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road has been closed while we respond to the incident and investigate.

Statement from Essex Police: “We’re on scene of a serious collision on the southbound carriageway of the M11 nearly Junction 7 for Harlow.

It happened shortly before 3.50pm today (Sunday 17 August).

The road has been closed while we respond to this incident.

i have just looked on google maps and the m11 is blocked and whilst me and my family are driving home from our holiday
