A HARLOW resident has been charged with causing criminal damage to Harlow Library.
Ergys Kamberi, aged 27, of Herons Wood, Harlow has been charged with the following.
On August 26th, 2025, at Harlow without lawful excuse, destroyed a computer monitor to the value of unspecified belonging to Harlow Library intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged.
He has also been charged with damaging two windows.
He has been remanded on conditional bail until his next appearance at Chelmsford magistrates court on November 28th, 2025.
I know him , wrongun of this town . Never worked so i dont know how he’ll pay this
I know it may seem an oddity in this smartphone age but there are still people who can't afford a computer/laptop/ smartphone or an internet contract. When this happens, the various library's provide free access to computers and the internet. This is an invaluable service in a world that now seems to want to do all paper work and communication via the internet. Resources are scarce so 1 hour time slots is the best way to give everyone a chance to complete what they need too. Actions such as this selfish person will negatively effect considerably more users desperate to use this equipment
Make him volunteer somewhere. Make him pay for the damage out of his huge benefits.
What was he doing in Harlow in the first place?
Let me guess, he want's a council house and unlimited access to benefits.
Not the weirdo who tampers with the smartphones in the EE store? If it's him then he's a complete idiot, always pestering others in the Town Centre.
I suppose everyone was staring.
they want to destroy every nice thing we have.
