HUNDREDS of prospective pupils and their parents attended the Stewards Academy open evening on Thursday night.

The key note speech was made by Headteacher, Stephen Drew.

It was clear that in his first two years, he and his team have made great improvements at the school.

Not least of which is the exam results.

The school has been ranked the most improved in Essex and its results in the summer were the best in a decade.

There were also wonderful speeches by the Head Boy and Girl as well as the Year 7 pupils.

The deadline for applications is October 31st.
