Plans for another 70 “high-quality” homes at Jack’s Hatch

PROPERTY developers, Pigeon are set to present their proposals for a mix of up to 70 new “high-quality” homes, including 50% affordable housing, public open green space, as well as new and enhanced pedestrian and cycle routes to the surrounding area.

A spokeperson said: “We are dedicated to creating a development that not only meets the growing housing needs but also respects and reflects the rural character of Jack’s Hatch”.

This should not even be considered, this will put at least 140 more cars on to Parsloe road which is already a nightmare for anyone living around this area. People have already shown their feelings when they were going to build the opposite side of the road around Blakes farm, so do these developers really think changing sides of the road will be any different. This development falls under Epping Forest and once again they are trying to bolt another development on to Harlow, this is wrong. It's about time Rye Meads sewage plant refuse to support and more houses as they cannot cope with more sewage and this is why it bloody ends up in our rivers. As many people have said time and time again you should only be able to build new properties when the infrastructure is there to support it.
