THERE IS always a few Innovation Multisport participants at the Harlow parkrun most Saturdays.

If they are not there, then they are around the country somewhere.

However at Harlow on Saturday, there were 27 participants wearing the glorious pink (or is it fuchsia) of Innovation Multisport.

It was a special occasion as veteran member, Alan Power was running his 350th parkrun. Alan is 80 years old and ran his first competitive race in 1968.

Most Saturdays, Alan as well as fellow octogenarians, Peter Mills and Jim Bates are battling round the course.

If they can still do it, then there is really no excuse.
