ESSEX Police are investigating a fatal collision on the M11 and need anyone with information which could assist us to come forward.

Officers were called to the scene of a single-vehicle collision on the southbound carriageway, between Junction 7 (Harlow) and Junction 6 (M25 Interchange), shortly before 1am on Wednesday 4 February.

It was found a red Audi A3 had left the road and overturned.

Despite the best efforts of first responders and all emergency services, very sadly a woman, aged in her 40s, from London, was pronounced dead at the scene.
