ON Friday night, the Chair of Harlow Council, Andrew Johnson hosted his fourth Live Lounge held in Theatre 2 at the Harlow Playhouse.

Hundreds were raised for his two chosen charities: Mike’s Den and Butterfly Effect.

It was a marathon evening with fifteen acts playing over a four-and-a-half evening.

We feel, we couldn’t leave a single act out so we will be running them all as individual news items.

One of the highlights was the wonderful, unadulterated rhythm and blues of Studio Blues.

We saw the down in the town park in the summer and they were even better in the high confines of Theatre 2.
