IT looks like St Mark’s aren’t only brilliant academically but they are always blazing a trail on the sports pitches.

Well done to their U19 Netball team who have just produced two fantastic performances over the last few weeks in the Essex Cup.

Firstly, they were involved in an absolute classic in the round of sixteen against the very dangerous Brentwood School. They beat the independent school 40-37. Special mention to the outstanding player of the match, Angel.

Then they went on to beat the very impressive Bancrofts School from Woodford Green.

The girls won by 33-22. A fantastic team performance from all who played.

They have now gained a place in the county semi-finals.
