BOTH events at MHA today were incredibly busy, with over 400 athletes taking part in our final indoor sportshall athletics events of this academic year.

The morning saw 17 teams compete in the annual Years 3 and 4 Indoor Sportshall Athletics event. With large numbers, we did very well to get through all the track and field events within just over 2 hours – a fabulous achievement. Teams participating were: Hare Street, Church Langley, Tanys Dell, Hatfield Heath, Harlowbury, Henry Moore, Freshwaters, Jerounds, Katherines, Longwood, Little Parndon, Purford Green, Abbotsweld. Cooks Spinney, Holy Cross, Katherines, Nazeing and The Downs

The afternoon event for the 18 teams from Years 1 and 2 was a calmer affair, as numbers of competitors were reduced from 18 per team to 8.

Again, the performances were very impressive, with the participants experiencing healthy competition in a controlled environment.
