HARLOW’S Danny Raymond has recaptured the form that won him the England Schools  Inter Boys 800 metre title back in 2021 

The former Stewards Academy student is based at Queens College, Charlotte, North Carolina (NC) in the USA

He has just started his outdoor season over in the US and in the space of just 10 days has set three personal bests

On Friday 20th at the Charlotte meeting in NC he won over 1500 metres in 3 mins 49.27 a huge personal best by 8 seconds His last  lap on this occasion  was just 57 seconds 

A week later he competed in the Raleigh relays. On the Thursday he was a winner again over 1500 metres in 3 minutes 45.4 seconds. This time his lap was 56 seconds

Two days  later in much colder conditions he was victorious again over 800 metres in another PB of 1 mins 50.4 

It is obvious in the weeks ahead he will lower these times and hopefully when he returns to the UK, The Woodford Green athlete will be invited to compete in the U.K. Champs and European trials on the 20th June
