THIS World Art Day, 15 April, adult education provider, ACL Essex is launching a new series of art courses. The sessions are ideal for people looking to discover and express their creative side. Art courses are also a great way to meet likeminded people, while boosting mental wellbeing.
ACL Essex’s art courses are available across the county from Clacton to Harlow for adults wanting to explore their artistic skills. The courses are accessible and hands-on, with many starting in April. Art Drawing and Painting starts on 20 April for eight lessons.

Across Essex, art-lovers can hone their pottery and ceramic making skills. The next Grayson Perry’s can even throw down their first clay on a wheel as they start on their creative journey. Several pottery courses are launching across the county with lessons taking place in the mornings, afternoons and evenings.
Lisa Jarentowski, Principal, ACL Essex said: “Creative learning plays a key role in improving confidence, reducing stress and helping adults reconnect with learning in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
“The courses help people discover creativity at any age, whatever their skill level. They can make something beautiful and meaningful in a location close to them. From silver clay jewellery making in Colchester to learning the guitar in Chelmsford, we have something for everyone.”

Potential Picasso’s and Banksy’s can also sign up for:
