JUST before the Easter break, a number of the St Mark’s West Essex Catholic school’s Netball teams achieved great success.

The Year 9 netball team finished the season strongly with a convincing win at the district tournament beating Mark Hall 18-0 and Passmores 15-0.

Excellent passing from Lillie, strong defending from Anna and Mya stepping into the shooter role for the first time and smashing it were all highlights. Well done to all!

The senior netball team played their last district tournament of their careers at St Marks and won convincingly for a fifth year in a row.

A super special team who have extremely successful from their first game in year 7.

The Senior Netball team also defended their WESSA trophy against Davenant Foundation School on 26th March.

They won convincingly 34-12 and dominated form the start. Excellent defending from Angel and Rene made it so hard for them to convert any chances and some super shooting long range from Simona showcased just how good this team is!

This match cemented their position as the best Netball team in their age group for West Essex for the fifth year in a row. Well done to everyone who played!
