A WEST Ham United XI, comprised of Academy players, will travel to Harlow Town on Wednesday night to take on the Essex-based side at the McCullochs Arena.

HARLOW Running Club had a good turnout at the Ten Fest at Lee Valley, where you could run a 10 mile or a 10K race. In the 10 Mile race Martin Westley finished in 2nd place out of 193 finishers in a fantastic 1hr 00min 10sec, just 7 seconds outside his PB for the distance.
THE 2k run for children aged up to 14 years of age takes place at 9am every Sunday morning around the showground area of the town park.
JOE Radford, flew back from holidaying on the continent in order to play in the fixture and his efforts (and those of his father) were not wasted as he proceeded to make a defining 85 not out, ensuring Harlow reached a very impressive 150-2 in their 20 overs. Joe received excellent support from fellow opener William Forde who made 39.
BASED in Latton Park, the home of Harlow Rugby Club, the popular sports clinic is one six days a week.
FOUR players from Harlow Judo Club travelled to High Wycombe to compete in the Northern Home Counties Split Grade / The Don Werner Memorial Championships event held at High Wycombe. The unusually over-subscribed event was split into 3 sections – Red & Yellow Belts, Orange & Green Belts and Blue & Brown Belts. This level 2 event is a good event for lower grades and less experienced competitors however the group that one player took part in, was the next level up (level 3).

WITH the weather Friday being thunderstorms and rain until at least 01:00 Saturday a few of us feared the course would be unplayable Saturday morning for the start of the Club Championship weekend. How wrong we were, at 06:00 no water to be seen on the greens, what a great job Damian and his team have done and continue to do, our sincere thanks.
